Okay I'm getting fustrated with the diehard Nadan fans lol Suu has done/is doing everything to protect and change Nadan status from slave to a freed man. So to call him a shitty character because he is intelligent and savvy enough to get what he needs and wants doesn't make him a horrible person. So yall mean to tell me if yall were in qSuu shoes yall would sit there and take being toss around to the highest bidder and get nothing out of for yourself let alone someone who is dear to you ? Like I'm really trying rationalize the hate I see for Suu. I haven't seen one chapter where Nadan has expressed that he wants to try to free Suu from being a slave unless I skipped over that part. To me Suu whole purpose in life it's to become free with Nadan and not just by himself... BUT " He Is A sHiTtY cHaRaCtEr".
As for master Jin I feel like his circumstances as prince in age where most royals kill each other to get to throne is normal. People are always watching plotting, scheming to dethrone him though he doesn't sit on the throne yet why not remove him. So him being cold, uncouth, distant, and even a killer is necessary to keep him alive in this story. It's not so far from reality when it comes to royalty decades ago ( I know this is pure fantasy).
I just feel like yall want the characters to have shallow and predictable feelings. Because it's easier to digest black and white instead of stepping into the gray area. I like gray area characters to a certain extent which is solely based up to the author. Some authors make Gray area characters and waste their potential completely!
and if I remember correctly, Suu was talking to Nadan telling him how he wanted to get them out of the Palace and Nadan was saying he is content there iamb
Right so he is content with being in bondage but look what jas happened to him. I bet he is wishing he didn't say that with how things are standing now.

He's probably blaming suu tho instead of regretting staying content here.
