Ahhh great question!! So in the novel, he wasn’t that “cold”. The novel portrayed his emotions and feelings as if he was a normal person. Funny thing is, when he first got his “Player ability”, and gained points, he said he liked round numbers and would always make his points end in multiples of 5.
Throughout the story, he still is a funny and silly person, but he’s serious when he needs to be.
