The tattoo was supposedly the curse. His father gave him one at such a young age aha.

And so all the women in the family die...?

His mother who remarried withe the oldman killed herself. It's considered as a curse starter to have someone kill themself in an household. Laterthe oldman tried to find a way to get rid of the supposedly curse and that jerk pointed the tattoo of the son of the woman who commited suicide.
