Well it seems that nasty Shouta drugged Rika into a heat and set him up to be gang raped by a bunch of Alphas to get rid of him. And I agree with you that Shiina is just as much a victim as Rika since he was the weapon of choice so to speak.
I truly hope that this new alpha gets told to fuck off, I really really don't want him to be the one Rika has his happily ever after with.
Probably there's no better alpha out there. They both shoulf just move on from the incident and live new lives but mangakas just like these kind of lives.
Exactly. I got tired of people being like "OMG HE RAPED HIM HE NEEDS TO FUCK OFF" and where I can understand why it's misleading since it is a common trope (unfortunately) in the case of most omegaverse both parties are victims. Not every omegaverse is gonna have a pheromone tolerant alpha or a super strong omega that can combat their heats. Each story is written differently and luckily in this one the alpha, Shiina, is genuinely sorry and trying to make up for it.
I'm just glad Shiina is trying to take responsibility for it. Alphas don't have as strong a need to be with their pair in most cases. Some stories alphas will have more than one omega if they are being scummy. Shiina could've just forgotten and left Rika to suffer for the rest of his life but he didn't. He searched for him and when they finally reunited he promised to protect Rika and love him. Their beginning was shitty but their ending doesn't have to be.
Now if Yuki would kindly fuck off to where he came from that would be great.
Shiina is a victim, too, but despite it all he's been searching and wanting to make it up to Rika this whole time. He knows what happened back when they were in school was wrong. He's been trying this whole time since he found Rika again to make it up to him. He's been covering his ass and doing his best to make sure Rika doesn't get found out. Stop bashing on the poor guy already. This is omegaverse. We all know by now how hard it is in most cases for omegas AND alphas to resist pheromones. They were young and probably hadn't been exposed ever before.
If anyone needs to be blamed it's Shouta, the other omega that set it all up in the first place, and Yuki for not keeping a check on his man. Not to mention that all of a sudden he shows up and is all like "forget ya mans and be with me" is wrong. He doesn't know how Rika is living now and is being inconsiderate. He doesn't know whether or not Rika is in a happy relationship with his alpha. Not to mention it feels more like an obligation thing and a "I'm sorry my boyfriend did that to you lemme make it up to you" solution. He doesn't feel genuine at all.
