No, I'm not sure about it. I used "vampire hunter" because it's the first thing that came in my mind, as well as a doubt I have had for a bit of time. I didn't read the raws, so there's no way for me to know what actually Kai is.
However, someone asked him to bring Yi Li Sha instead of killing her, for experiments, so unless he's some kind of mercenary with knowledge about the supernatural, I don't know what to call him.
I'm sure enough that he's suspicious, though.
