For me, it's how pretty she is. The novel described her as having an average face. That does not look like an average face to me. Why can't we ever have an average looking person be successful in their love life for once? Koreans and their high standards of beauty smh....
actually in the novel, it's only Lucia who think her beauty being only average at best. But the truth is that she has a different kind of beauty than the most women in her kingdom. While the most women in the kingdom were considered beautiful if they have big cleavage, curvy body, etc like what would you expect from a femme fatale, Lucia's beauty in comparison is like a fairy who has rather small figure and child-like facial feature. So in conclusion, yes, Lucia is actually a beauty as what you would expect from a fairy-like princess.
