I think Jullius has always repected Roel as a fellow knight. It would align with how his regime works with the strongest as the captain.

Are u referring to the original Roel having her death set up? Along this line I think I was referring to just Captain Julius defending Roel because he respects her
no i'm not saying Julius doesn't respect Roel but the look on his face in this latest chapter for the cliffhanger and as for why he is sorry, it makes me think he may know about her being set up into this trap to defeat the demon king. if not then oh well. the set up is the fact that she was made to go face to face with the demon king; as for who did it, we'll find out before the end i hope; otherwise i guess we'll suffer for season 2......
Ok yall its alright, I think. If I remember correctly there was a chapter in which Captain Juluis defended Roel when Sila(that was already Roel) insulted or I think sais something bad about hersefl. And then Capatian Juilus got mad at her, only a bried moment tho. Thay's gotta mean something right?
