I like them but...

I liked the three couples quite a lot, but I still hate the "everyone is gay" trope in BL like COME ON!!
Ugh, you know what? Maybe I'm just being too bitter, YALL CAN LOVE WHOEVER YOU WANT, IF THE STRAIGHTS ARE THE TENDENCY LET THE GAYS ALSO BE THE TENDENCY FROM TIME TO TIME, AMEN THANK YOU LORD ARCEUS

You act like being gay is rare. It's funny when most people react the way you did but dont bat an eye when there are only straight couples in the story.

Yeah, I realized halfway lol I have to change that way of thinking, but I do find myself thinking how annoying it is to have only straights in some mangas from time to time lol Hopefully I'm not too far off xD

Statistically speaking It's probable to have only straight couples in a story... Now let's count the probability of 3 random friend all being gay - it's very low. (I don't count the senpai because he approached the guy out of interest)

In this day and age? Really? I believe you think the probability is low because most people dont like to flaunt their sexual orientation. So we cant always be so sure if someone is straight or not. So let's not try to always assume someone is straight and just stay in our lane :)

First of all - it has nothing to do with "this day and age"... and I never assume someone's sexuality. let's say that 20% is gay (and I rounded up from 16% data I found). basic math does the trick and 0.8% chances of that happening... MAGIC ( ̄∇ ̄")

But this is still fiction, in most stories of fiction (realistic or fantasy like) there are things that are not likely to happen but they happen anyways to make it interesting, a story with only average things happening is probably not that very entertaining in comparison. So even if in real life the probability is low, it's still interesting to show that in a story because even if it's low it can still happen and that is one of the great things about fiction, to be able to "experience" things that don't happen often :^D
and FYI: I agree that when talking about statistics, they are not made out of assumptions, so at least I didn't think you were assuming people's sexuality, I think the other person assumed things about you instead which is kind of ironic xD
Last thing though: you have to be careful with statistics, because sometimes what they measure doesn't mean much, sometimes the details can say more, like demographics, maybe there's a generational difference, the newer generations appear to be "gayer" than the previous ones, so for highschoolers maybe that percentage of how many are gay is higher than you think ;^))
