I really like that the plot is focused mostly on the main leads (so far) and without any unnecessary second love interest or evil villain/villainess. Would anyone recommend me a webtoon/manhwa similar to this? Thanks! :)

Okay..why herbalist though? You have to sell the character make her believable and relatable, then readers will take to her easier.Suicidal thought and depression aren't weak...it really depends how you portray... akfgeneration

Thank you, I mean I really want to make the story perfect if that's even possible, I want my story to have impact, depth, meaning and entertainment that and also well balanced. I do not want it to be one of those boring, not well-thought-out, typical mangas that just waste my time. That's why I've been slowly working on the story in my head for 2 years now and still not even close to finishing, I want every detail to have a story or reason behind it, even though I'm worried it'd be over detailed.

About Medori (you may as well call her female lead) being a herbalist, imma just jab down some backstories here so brace yourself XD I'm sorry lol
that's because people in the small villages had to depend on herbal medicine to treat the sick, as it was the only thing they could depend on. Actually it's more of Traditional Chinese Medicine to be honest, but they call it Traditional Herbal Treatment Science, and Medori would be called a herbalist treater. So back before the War of The Cursers reached the country, when Medori lost her parents (to which I'm developing their backstory and connecting it with the story) in a fire accident in the tree house that belonged to her parents, to which Medori caused the fire by accident, I was so sad drawing sketches of this part, drawing the whole accident, especially since the male lead from the present would also be watching the incident next to a small traumatised Medori as he was involved in time conflicts at the time.

So basically after she lost her parents she then had to live with one of her mother's old friends, a woman who is a baker and a boarder in her house, to which the woman (who actually has a story of hers and conflicts with Medori's mother and a knight from the red Moon clan) who now is a baker, used to be a successful herbal treater but quit the career after losing her lover in the past leaving it behind her forever. Medori after meeting Akai (oh boy Akai has a huge plot twist there! XD, he's Sagatsuka the male lead's other identity but no one knows about that, not even Sagatsuka or Akai themselves know about that, and so they are now treated as two different people to other people, it's hard to explain it lol) so anyways after Akai and Medori met when they were kids but a little older than before and Medori realized she wanted to become a stronger person, her mother's friend started teaching her Herbal treatment. Thus that's why she became a herbalist XD there you have it!

Cool, I'll be on the look out for when you release it! I think it's a good idea to focus on the story first and slowly build up you drawing, especially because you're still a student! I love trying different types of art, but I'm not that confidant in my drawing skills, lol! It's so awesome that you have something you love and want to work towards! I wish you all the best!! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Thank you so much!! I appreciate it. I too feel like my drawing skills aren't ready yet to publish officially. I'm really not confident at all with any of my skills including singing and writing.
Your drawing skills can be developed by practicing, learning how to practice efficiently (YT can help you with that), using your imagination to be flexible like having a deep understanding of what you're drawing (for example you are drawing a head you saw on pinterest, imagine the skull and the angle and understand what you are drawing, that way you'll remember it better next time), observing everything in drawings you see and wonder how it was drawn, what type of brushes or tools used, colours, shading and lights effects, layers?.. etc just analyse and observe even if you don't really draw what you see (reading manga and manhua really helped me with that a ton as I don't really practice by coping a lot which is not good). The most important thing about that is your passion to drawing, sometimes you'll feel like not drawing at all heck I'm always like that, I'm lazy, but at the end of the day, I still love drawing and know I'd still go back to it after a while.
I mean I started drawing at 3rd grade after my home room teacher was in shock after she saw my drawing and called the whole teachers in the floor then filmed me explaining my drawing. I was dumbfounded but after that motivation I never stopped drawing. I self-taught myself drawing.
