Very true, what's killing me the most is this terrible pace. Like it sucks any enjoyment out of the story
not only does it have terrible pace, it yeets any decent plot device to make the FL as weak as possible and entirely dependent on the power of cuteness and men. Its like its afraid Sanghee will become strong. Her use of Korean is at a dead end apart from occasional reading one line of secret per 3 chapters. her healing powers are pretty much useless against sexist bastards that beat the crap out of a gang in less than 30 seconds. Her only other female counterpart, Freesia (who herself is pretty capable) is yeeted to god knows where cos Sanghee got jealous of her (like gurl u trapped in a sexist dystopia, clinging onto your sexist fiance shouldnt be ur first priority). And freesia disappears for most of the story, not contributing to freeing women or showing sexists that women can do shit, all because of a crush on Jinsu. For a story about equality, it cant even pass the Bechdel test.
I guess its cute that the male family members are changing around ONE female protagonist, but its creepy and cringy how the whole plot just happily hopped off from addressing all the executed princesses, mistreated and abandoned wives. The men did pretty Horrible things to women in the early chapters. And it was essentially the hook that these men might get their karma back in their faces and start learning to respect women and seeing that women have the same capabilities like the men. But after 167 chapters, the men still... are getting away with it. Whats worse is the Thick icing of flat comedy and suffocating snapchat filter of aegyo and men being adorkable. Not only that, after a while, that "lure them with cuteness" thing gets old and boring because in real life, that is not possible and its unrealistic. You can't change someone just by being subservient and cute. Sure they will treat you well, but they arent respecting u, they are just treating you like an object that they favor. And now, Sanghee is trapped in this dismal plot, because the story has written her to be too weak to be suddenly anything else.

the romance is really bad worse than twilight and i never thought i'll say this sentence
also having a pre-existing boyfriend from her previous life is kinda bad because the audience won't get attached to him or get why she love him especially since he is a bipolar dickhead in this life
also she rarely move the plot and just react until some white knight save the day
