Actually, you're quite wrong there. If there's bribery going on, especially in the government, then that country will fall. Given that there are a lot of countries existing nowadays, I'd say a lot of this countries prospered without bribery. That's why you see a lot of news bout government officials getting sued for embezzlement and such and such.

In terms of business, if an honest bussiness doesn't have anything to hide, there's no bribery, otherwise, they're a poison to the country which is why they either get closed down or are part of the underworld.

Even as purchaser officer controlling stationary stock in a small company we do bribery (of course we don't announced publicly what we do,but if u want to get cheap price and efficiently for the job,is a practice here).....I don't know u crawl from what country...but that's how we do around the world. Wow dude.... You're the one that should open your eyes... The FACT that you knew about those "examples" you gave just means that those stuff was exposed and was dealt with... If those "stuff" continued do you rhink those countries would prosper?

I'll give you my country as an example. There's been a lot of news about senators and other goverment officials that were exposed for embezzlement... but there are more still hiding what they're doing, and that is why we are still considered as third world even with the current president fixing all the damages. In my country, Corruption is listed as one of the main reason why our country wouldn't prosper. Stealing the people's money for your own wouldn't make your country the land of milk and honey.
