anwering the question "why arent you shocked?", in my experience, iv been in the community for a really long time and iv seen almost everything this genre has to offer and honestly as time goes on you kinda just become numb with these stuff ╮(￣▽￣)╭ no im not insane, i dont think most of the peeps here are either. Well, I watched a lot of Japanese porn, gay and straight, and they have a lot of Rape Scenario, so nope I'm not shocked. And beside every Yaoi I read has a rape scene in it (I don't read shounen ai so), but they sugar coated it, just take a look at Viewfinder and Hidouko Shinaide and so many more, they in the top list for decade before Korean BL manhwa craze, but I wonder why many people isn't bothered by it? maybe because unlike this manhwa where the uke actually crying and scared while being raped, but on those Yaoi the uke shaking their hips and then fall in love and bla bla blah blah.
And FYI, in real life I got real mad when I heard the news when people being raped, man or woman, and if I was a Doctor I wouldn't mind to do the chemical castrated on the rapist since all the doctors in my country refused to do so because human rights or whatever even though the law permitted it.
One of my friend got raped a while ago and before that, I used to read manga with rape without even thinking about. But now I realize how sickening rape is. Yes, people are shock and have the right and reasons to be.

That's not a question, I'm not shocked me too, I just denounce some people who seem "surprise" to see people schoked or angry ... and personally I found that the shock is totally normal, and me if I'm not shocked it's because I'm used to see this, I saw worst things in my life, but I don't blame people who are schoked for this manhwa because Rape is not normal even in a fiction.
And whatever we say fiction is a sort of mirror of reality. Reality give us inspiration, influence, and ideas to write, draw a fiction. Even it's not real, it give messages, something about reality. Believe that fiction is completely separate to reality is just ignore something that is real : Fiction influence us, and give something to us personnaly, this has an impact on us, we are sad, enthusiastic... It's because fiction has a link with reality, with us and our world.
You're like me and a lot of person, we are used to this. I read a lot shocking things (mainly Yaoi) with rape, blood... But I'm sort of bothered or even desesperated by this Uke rape, rape and... Rape.. over and over... It's just... I finished to stop to have emotions, or anything... While I should be. I wanted say that I don't care people who say they aren't shocked but some people seems "surprised" "annoyed" that other people are : schoked or angry, while it's totally normal. After, We have all a sort of "illegal" taste in our deep self, a sort of "hidden desire" it's a fiction, so people have the right to like it, because they express their honesty you can watch this manhwa and wait the next saying "I don't like it". It's more honest to see, yeah I like it, but they must say in same time, yes, it's really bad and Na is suffering. Just, not be blind by excitation or the illusion of the fiction.

when i said fic isnt connected with reality, the point i was making was these characters arent real. You dont generally think much of inanimate beings. Yes the event is real, and u could be influenced by it, it does mirror things but Seungho isnt a real person. My reaction to rape and sexual harrassment would be very much different if this were a real person.

Ironically in real life events, when there is a case where a woman got molested, raped, there is a lot of people who say 'Oh it must feel good', 'oh you must enjoy it so much that it took years for you to report it', 'oh look at those dress, she was asking to be raped' and blah blah blah, I read those not only on online social media but I heard it loud and clear and the person who say that was a woman for god sake. How nice it would be if these people who spend their energy getting angry over fictional character would also do to the same in real life, but sad thing is the rape victims not only they have to suffer from the trauma but they also got blamed and scorned by society, labeled as 'DIRTY', and this is a fact.

Yes I'm totally agry, this reaction must be more intense in reality. That's a problem in fact because people don't really react or don't react at all ...
