Well yeah. I'm not ranting the manga itself. Rather than that I'm saying, people saying that this is not shocking and that people shouldn't complain about rape, is what worries me. Love the story. Rape scenes are not romantized. Well keep reading!
I don't have a problem with the rape in this manhwa, in fact so far the author portrayed it perfectly, but i have problem with the ppl who are sugar coating what is actually happening :/
Well tbh the most probable case is that people have read other fictions like this, so the shock factor of rape is watered down. It’s like reading a story that had introduced 2 love story and still being shocked with the love triangle cliche even tho they’ve read a thousand others like it. There are hints and flags at face value that tells you what plot it’s gonna have it’s just a matter of observation.

and even though we aren't shocked by this type of content anymore that DOES NOT mean we are desensitized to rape in REAL LIFE.

Whatever, it's part of the story and the progression of the plot, and you who said you like the story should also understand it. So why don't you understand?
