Yall need to realize that realism is not an excuse to dismiss people's annoyance with the characters' actions. Just because it's realistic doesn't mean they aren't being annoying.
also if you read the authors notes, it says:
"that their journey turned out this way isn't something I decided recently, but rather something that was established in the beginning....but they are only PARTWAYS through the journey. I'm sure both shinyas will grow from here"
hence if you read between the lines.....
its not about switching. Ppl on here just like to force views and generalization of yaoi at the slightest indication of a switch couple not being established (go read haru wo daite. There are several switching couple in yaoi) . But fail to notice, they fell in their own loop of not reading the chapter properly. People are so riled up over them not switching that they failed to empathize with the angst and the lack of love that one of the shinyas reiceves.
After all the confessions and chasing each other, you realise the Japanese Shinya doesn;t love him.........??????? AAAAAAAAA THE ANGST
The author didn't say anything about switching being bad. But rather the love component that fails to be recieved by one of the shinyas. To him, it feels like the other Shinyas love was just an infatuation
Anyway......Its about love development between two people that everyone goes through. It is realistic. Its not just okay we confessed, we loved, lets bang. No there is ups and down to navigate in a bond between two humans.
