"Some effort on Naoki's side"??Um, it really doesn't count against Naoki that he wasn't interested in being involved with a child. 14/15 year olds have really strong feelings, and those feelings are real for them, but the fact remains that a 14 year old is still WAY more like a child than like an adult. Any 29 year old that can be interested in a 14 year old sexually or romantically has something seriously wrong with them. Whether he ends up with Minato or not, Naoki hasn't done a single thing wrong!
I actually dislike manga where adults start relationships with underage teens - IF it's actually a real chance at a relationship, the adult should still fricking wait until the kid grows up. No exceptions. So I'm really happy with how this is playing out, in terms of Naoki and Minato potentially ending up together.

Hmm I get what you mean and I wasn't trying to attack your opinion, sorry if it came across that way - but since, in my opinion, Naoki actually did the right thing by the young Minato, he doesn't owe him anything now. It's not Naoki's fault that Minato waited 9 years! Maybe you didn't mean it this way, but the last part of your comment makes it seem like you think Naoki owes Minato because he's wronged him in some way. I don't feel that he has.
Oh, and I was talking about fiction by the way - it's a no-brainer in real life, adults having sex with underage kids is a crime, as it should be, everyone knows that, no need to discuss it. I don't like *fictional stories* where adults have relationships with kids. Looking purely at this manga, Minato when he met Naoki developed a massive crush - and that's understandable, I think it's realistic that a middle school kid would develop feelings for a 29 year old hot, kind guy like Naoki. But he was clearly portrayed as an inexperienced kid with a crush - although beautiful and interesting, likely to become a prize guy in the future. I dislike stories that are just like "Oh he's so cute, the adult can't help themselves" and the adult just goes for it with the kid. That's why I said I like the way this story develops all those aspects.
Minato is so loyal! He deserves to be happy bestfriend's glare is so satisfying, then again it's not like I can blame Naoki. At this point i dun mind if Minato ends up with Akiyoshi. But if he still ends up with Naoki, I wanna see some effort on Naoki's side =_= minato waited for 9 YEARS!! APPRECIATE HIM!!!!!
