Your theory is really interesting.
I was thinking that maybe Sasha and Lilith were both from two different worlds that got reincarnated in the same story (because they don't belong to the same world, the story has a different name in Lilith's world, maybe tht's why she didn't recognize it immediately).
I was hoping that maybe Lilith knew that she was gonna hurt Rebecca and that was why she decided to aime for Payne. Because let's face it, I would do the same if i read a story about a player who leaves his fiancee for someone else (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I would go for someone who's more worth it and not for a cheater.
But anyway what you said makes a lot of sense. I'm existed to see how this unfolds (ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Honestly I'm just interested in what food she introduced into the world to lure the dragon... I'm not a far future thinker~~ if we will only find out what happens wen the author says so and the tl let's us understand (〜￣△￣)〜
I think Lilith's mother is a reincarnator. Here me out;
So, Lilith's mom unlike in the book/last life wasn't I'll and perfectly fine, but now she is sick maybe she's in hiding, like controlling stuff from the shadows.
Lilith may have ended up with Aarth or someone other than the main male mcs, and seeing that THE crown prince prince and a literal frickin DRAGON that's compared to the Gods vying for her daughter's love rejected; meaning no great power, position or wealth from being the mother-in-law of either of the two great gentlemen, Lilith's mom got angry, malcontended, and upset. She was good before but power and stuff made her go a bit kookoo in the head, ya'kno?
But, Then! Like a gift from the gods she was reincarnated after some event, and now is getting her daughter to follow her words and snag a powerful man.
But, now seeing that the (incompetent and manw*ore)crown prince is actually paying attention to his fiance unlike the previous life she changes her target to Prince Payne, who even tho is a feared war prince should still have a chance for the throne.
AND maybe that's why Lilith wasn't surprised by the mention of The Book, but was when Sasha said The original story, coz for Lilith's mom she doesn't kno this is a book but can phrase the previous life as a story of a 'poor naive girl who met misfortune' and that she saw a vision/dream or sth after reading it, so Lilith should listen to her mom coz the little girl looked like Lilith and she might 'doom' herself and her family, and that's also y Lilith is still like the OG Lilith.
Or.... I dunno maybe it's a bit too much???
