i mean if Hodaka doesn't say otherwise and relies on this misunderstanding to get closer to Hiyori it's still just as deceitful considering Hiyori is under the impression it's a life or death ultimatum in exchange for extortion.
lmao hodaka didn't even plan to take advantage of the fact that hiyori is a human but hiyori's giving in as if he's being threatened.
