Fortunately , ML is actually madly in love with heroine and even jealous with his own son.
Like tough for the heart. (kinda spoiler) There’s a lot (not that many) of misunderstandings and no communication that it’s tough reading it when you already know that the only reason their really “fighting” is because they don’t understand each other. But it her than that it’s smooth.

yeah they do misunderstand each other in regards of their feelings but besides that there’s almost no drama in their relationship they’re both very mature about it and they start to open up to each other in a very realistic way. that’s what i loved the most about the novel, even tho they dont confess right away, lucia understands that there are things about hugo’s life that maybe it’s not the time to know about and hugo tries his best to understand her situation and make sure she knows he cares for her.

Went back to the capital their relationship just got so much better.
I’ve read the novel and I just want to let EVEYONE know that starting now you’ve gotta prepare your heart because it’s gonna be tough for the next few (idk how many tho) chapters and I don’t want y’all walking into this blindly.
