The age of consent in Japan differs from prefecture to prefecture. Almost all of them have 18 as their age of consent. some are 16. The very few places that have 13 as their age of consent are some islands.
thank you! i did find it odd that ppl were saying the age of consent was 13, but i'm not that well-versed in those matters so i can't come out and rebuke them about the truth of their statements (well i could have googled it lol but u know).
but since when has legality meant shit? just 'cause something is legal doesn't mean it's good or should be done. anyone that uses legality to go after kids is a fucking gross asshole.
saying that the age of consent is 13 in japan is a lil...sketchy and pedophilic. just cause that might be true, doesn't mean it's morally correct. like dude don't use that to say that an adult fucking a kid is ok, cause the "law" says so.
