The best professional approach to yaoi for that issue (for me at least) is the dakaretai Otoko series haha. Apart from the rapey stuff, it does bring up interesting dynamics about the acting career and being competitive with your partner professionally.

Wouldn't resentment eventually come into play, when your partner is so much better at the career you are in? The uke improved but from the beginning the seme is very condescending.
