Well, it's kind of like Thorfinn to move on from revenge, and it's not like Thorfinn could kill Askeladd. I was disappointed at first how he died, but when you think about it, the show's not about revenge but moving forward, acceptance and love, which fits thematically. Feel sad about Askeladd, a really great layered character.

I remember being curious as hell after that scene (end of anime) and lucky for us we get to binge read while other fans prob have to wait years, but imp to know is that this series is a SEINEN manga, the pace and story/ atmosphere will be different compared to the prilouge. But if ur patient enough and enjoy slice of life i highly recommend. Its slow at times but theres a reason its loved and so far the story hasnt gone downhill. However sadly the ending of this manga will be prob in a decade idk seinen mangas tend to be infinite hahahah after u binge its ur turn to wait... man how i wished i could read it finish
Thank you for your insight. Yeah i am really curious. Im thinking of buying all the volumes because i think this story is amazing. And its good to know that the story is still good. But i doubt that the other arcs can top the prologue.. which were by far too amazing

I just finished the anime and i want to die. They ending is so frustrating... i dont know if i should read the manga
