Okay time for an essay.
They are stuck in the past, both love each other but haesoo feels like he’ll lose everything to gain one thing. Haesoo is tired of playing a game of hate and love. He’s tired of worrying and being anxious all the time. He’s scared of everything, and just wants eve thing to be normal. Joowoon loves haesoo, he wants him, he loves him. But he cares more about he was feeling, the jealousy and the lust and the love, then haesoo scared of hurting/losing his mom and feeling anxious all the time. Joowoon is afraid to move on. Stuck with the past weighing down on him we can see he doesn’t want things to change, he’s become used his “normal” and is afraid, he wants to be haesoo’s one and only if that means giving up everything he’s worked so hard to build. It’s sad. Because the relationship would never work. Family, media, everything. Everything is against them. The only way I can see those two being together is if they moved or kept it secret for ever. But they might have to just move on. Nothing lasts, I feel like that’s the lesson joowoon needs to learn.
Taku wants to love haesoo too, he’s scared of being hurt but is willing to give it a chance, I feel like taku and haesoo could work if haesoo was more honest and less afraid of getting hurt again.
The end basically what I’m saying is looking at the evidence. It’s more likely taku x haesoo. The cover shows joowoon turning away, while taku keeps fighting, there could be no symbolism but that’s just how interpret it.
