Youngdo is murdered by the assassin mentioned by the old man (They meet him in an early chapter and the author says Youngdo will be killed by him.) They are reunited in the afterlife and Youngdo tells the child Giju he will take care of him from now on.

Gijus father killed yuyu. So the mother killed him. She burned herself and the dead body in their own house.
Why the assassin killed him I myself don't know :'(
I think it was because Giju's father tried to frame Giju for Yuju's murder, but Youngdo was also staying there.
