Yeah but they don't own the webtoons or mangas so i think thats just bad luck.. And the other team translating is putting a good amount of work in it too so it's not like they steal anything

instead of fighting why don't these two groups just join arms? that way their work eill be cut in half and everything will be easier? and no fighting or stealing. my opinion at least
Agreed. It’s like if you’re midway through a project, and someone comes along and takes over without asking first. Besides, the original scanlation group might get demotivated and stop translating if this goes on. I mean, since latter chapters have already been uploaded, readers will probably not bother to read the officially translated version of earlier chapters when they come out. When you think about it, it’s demeaning.
exactly! and the other group is putting it up so quickly. I get it though. It's like working on your thesis and the prof telling u mid-semester, "someone else is doing the same thesis at another school"
It would be fine if they asked to collaborate, but they didn't take the original group's permission, and are not responding to their messages.
