I skimmed through the light novel to see if I should keep reading cause right now I find the prince really controlling and conceited and I was hoping he would change and go through some character development but HOLY SH*T HE GETS WORSE! His entire character is based around him forcing Lidi to stay with him so that he can "keep" her. He crosses SO many lines and shows absolutely no remorse and Lidi is forced to put up with it because he's a prince.
What he feels for her can barely even be considered love, it's a really uncomfortable obsession where all he does is force her to stay with him COMPLETELY AGAINST HER WILL. I'll give him props since he genuinely wants to be with her and he does try to win her over through her heart but he tries to trick her so that she'll get pregnant (so that it's impossible for her to leave him) and that's what really made me hate him
There's honestly so much more wrong with this guy but imma leave it here cause I am HEATED
Again, I only skimmed through parts of the novel so I 100% could have misunderstood certain parts of the novel but forcing a girl to get pregnant behind her back is f*ucking disgusting
