i mean there kindof was a buildup though, they became closer and everything, naturally after everything gets cleared up theyd go sicko mode
Let’s be real, it’s not like the main characters really took it slower either. They were pretty much having sex before feelings were even a thing it was kinda like “ I see you are horny, I am as well, let’s do it”. At least here the relationship has kinda been building.
They kinda had a build, just not as obvious since they weren't the focus before. Gyoon already liked Jihye, and Jihye admitted to himself that Gyoon was honest with him unlike the others that call themselves his friends. Jihye was already conscious of Gyoon but didn't know what liking someone meant or what made someone special
Sex is different from having a relationship or having true feelings for each other. The main couple's pacing is slow burn, just reread it over all again so you can understand the difference.

Ok so like on a more serious note. As much as I love Jihye and Gyoon, im sort of not as invested into their current relationship (from the raws) as I thought or would have liked? It just feels very rushed to me. Like how did it escalate so quickly? Jihye was barely giving Gyoon a chance to show his feelings for him, and Jihye was barely opening up to the idea of being in a relationship. But now suddenly they are having sex? Maybe after the translations i might change my mind since there seems to be quite a bit of dialogue between them in the next couple of chapters. My point is that I don't find their connection as believable as Yohans and Suhwa's. There was emotional and physical build up for main couple, but for gyoon and jihye it was really sudden that i felt absolutely nothing. Like it was all angst and then BAM sex to make it a happy ending for them, but it didn't feel like one to me.
