Basically you have the initials of your soulmate somewhere on your body. It glows when you find and touch them. You don't have to find your soulmate, you can fall in love with someone else, but that person is someone you'd live forever if you found them.
This is a pretty popular fanfic trope, too. It's basically the name of your soulmate being imprinted in your skin like a tattoo but rarely people find their soulmate. When they find them tho they instantly get attracted to them in ways they can't explain. It also doesn't have the be a name per se, in some stories it's the first thing your soulmate tells you that gets imprinted in your skin or something you share or symbols or something. Kind of like matching tattoos
