You ask a lot of "why couldn't she" but a lot of the time in white history women had no power. It took hundreds of years for women of any status to get recognition. You are correct it was like that in the dark history but also if a powerful lady stood up for herself and for all the women who has it in them but never got the chance to show their abilities I'm sure they would get the recognition they deserve and that's how we got to where we are now.
