I wonder the same. I've seen this mentioned a few times in these webtoons. The group of thugs in this one is not worried too much about getting in trouble because they're minors. They made it sound like minors get away is breaking people's bones and sending them to the hospital. Look at Jihyun, who went to jail for murder but he got out in a couple of years. There was no mention of them finding the actual killer so it's not like he got out because of that reason.
Another webtoon I read (can't remember the name), but a group of high schoolers beat up an adult man that caused him to go into a coma. The student said something similar like what are they going to do to us, we're only minors. I think that's such a scary mindset. High schoolers are close to adult age. They shouldn't be able to get away with such behavior/actions.
That is terrifying. Hopefully thats just something they put in manga to makes things less complicated. Im praying in real life they still hold minors responsible. Otherwise they could get away with anything.
Why dont people in manga call the police? if im going somewhere to help someone being beat up, you better believe im calling my boys in blue on the way. Are the police not that involved in other countries?
