It seems there is 7 volumes but I doubt it will be that straight forward and easy with Veronica. I mean the minute she marries and has kids she loses her magic so that's a big life choice for her.

To my knowledge all the order witches that have kids haven't lost their power, why would she??
I could be mistaken but in the beginning of the series when they talked about witches, how they only give birth to sons, etc...I thought they said that. Which is why witches take orphans as apprentices.
The reasons witches takes orphans as their apprentice is so that when it comes to the final test, drinking the first witch blood, if they were to die there would be no family members to cry or suffer because of their death. You may be right and I might also be mistaken. I'll have to reread and pay close attention this time
