I agree that Nakyum ending in the “loving relationship” troupe would be a bit of a letdown but if it is to happen then that better be one hell of a damn redemption arc/back-story arc that’s written in for SeungHOE
I hope you understand, I’m sooo not trying to justify rape so I hope you don’t misjudge me..no like fr this isn’t me being rude or condescending or anything, I just dont want you to get the wrong idea. I do not support rape. Even in the context of it being a story, I have my boundaries
Since this is a story(set in a very loose time with loose morals), and I’m pretty sure this story will somewhat follow the path laid by it’s predecessors, I was trying to make light of it by saying that the redemption arc is should be good enough to at least somewhat understand the motives of seungHOE.
Coincidentally, I don’t think the author will fully go down the redemption arc path, I think they’ll really justify a lot of it as seunghoe being borderline psychotic. That’s what it seems to me idk. I legit do hope that they go down the option of it being because he is mentally incapable of being properly empathetic or of having a normal conscience. That’s about the only way that I’d be pleased without a word. Sorry for spelling or grammatical errors “I’m from mars” skskssk.
