Someone with an empty soul cannot fall in love so easily or get touched by someone’s kindness that easily too. They can but usually it takes time for them to open up or change.

IKR the first like 3 chapters or something, the story was interesting. From the down fall to the revenge. And when the lady asked for marriage I thought well ok, but then it was cuz she was secretly having crush with the dood! LOL and all that we look at each other eyes and blush... all of them happened to the so called empty soul duchess within the first 12-13 chapters.
I forgot that she was supposed to have an empty soul... (￣∇￣")
I think that the tile is just a hint for her partner since the ladys on the ball said that the dukes wife is gona be a duchess with an empty soul. Cos the duke wont love anyone, and not her personality. But thats just my theory.

I agree with the title being a clickbait, but i think the point of the FL's character is not actually being empty souled. It's just a nickname for whoever marries the ML, since he's famous for rejecting women or any sort of persuasion.
I dont think the author ever really planned for the FL to be cold. She obviously already had at least a small crush on the ML from her prev life when she was mistreated by everyone because of her ugly face, yet was taken care by him during the war.
Also the FL has it easy to breach the wall built by the Duke cause she knew him from his prev life. She knows the Duke isn't looking for love, thus doesnt take that route to approach him. And that made her different from other women.
It would be great if the title actually foreshadow the FL's character like you said but I think this webtoon is interesting anyway if you look it in different ways.
I don’t care if I get thumbed down to oblivion. I came back cuz I wanted to give this story a chance that it would be become better but it’s getting cliche and so typical. Judging by the tile I thought the female character would be very different and great in her own ways, but this is very misleading.
