Charlie is such a bitch, I can't sympathize. He is a possessive, codependent yandere with a self pity complex imho. . . No one forced him to extend his contract and he could clearly see Lee liked Hyungdo so he should've let that go. He was rejected so he should've just bounced. Hell, he didn't even get emo after stabbing the guy he supposedly loved.
Also, if he were a true victim, he would have sympathized with choi not handed him over to that druggy rapist. If he felt he was swindled into becoming a manwhore wouldn't he think the same happened to Choi? He didn't help Choi escape before out of the goodness in his heart...he wanted Lee to himself, periodt.

Poeople deal with things differently. Charlie hss clearly been broken. He has harmed himself,has tried so many things to get a little bit of attention only to just be sold over and over again.
Hyungdo was warned.. he literally let him go,helped him out of an awfwl situation of being used as a toy. And coi came back. I think if that kept on hyungdo would end up the same.

I hear what you are saying but we don't know what type of person Charlie was before Lee. We'd have to know the before and after to draw the conclusion that he was broken. His self harm actions are proof of a sick codependent behavior. He and Hyungdo are very different people. Tbh, Hyungdo has a little more self respect,if he was flat out rejected by Lee he is thetype that would mourn his broken heart and move on. He signed his contract because Lee bought his debt and the contract essentially made him Lee's exclusive lover. Anyway Charlie was not helping Hyungdo so much as he was trying to hold onto what little of Lee's attentions he could.
