Like when are people going to understand that words have power. The saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bone, but words can never hurt me” is bullshit. They do as much damage and even more. You can heal from a broken leg or arm, but a broken heart and/or trust, a lot of times never can. Not only that but if they don’t like it, don’t read it and stop ruining it for others who do!

Bullying the uploaders and readers who read manhwas here instead of on legal sites, like Lezhin, supporting the author, is very common for webtoons. I've seen many uploaders stop uploading because of not very nice comments. But i also remember times when the uploaders were in the wrong. They uploaded chapters with low quality, bad translation, acting like they were saving the world. Also when they uploaded the chapters too fast - because of this, the authors couldn't gain much of their work cuz not many people were actually buying their chapters.
I think that both sides, the readers and uploaders are to blame.
I understand what you’re talking about regarding uploading but that has nothing to do with someone thinking it is right to harass and bully. It doesn’t give a person the right to tell an uploader or ANYONE to go and kill themselves. These people who were DMing the uploader were saying that. They also said that they were supporting rape due to the content of the manwha which has nothing to do with the uploader but the author. So, to be honest, this isn’t about the fact about uploading on legal sites or how the uploader uploaded lower quality or anything like that. This is about how we watch what we say and know the possible effects it can have on a person. People do it all the time on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and any other social media and there have been cases of people, including children, killing themselves over what people have said to them INCLUDING to kill themselves. This is a continuing problem and there are no excuses. None.
I have been on here for a while now way before I made an account. I’ve seen many of these manga be dropped due to people becoming too busy, not able to pay for it anymore, etc. but to harass the uploader, someone who takes the time out of their day to do this? That’s ridiculous! Everyone seems like they can just send a DM or comment behind the curtain of the internet and say those things. It’s wrong. If you wanna share your opinion, why not post it here huh? Oh wait, I forgot. Your a coward that rather DM the person directly instead of going against the people who actually support the uploader and would snap right back at you. If you’re gonna have the balls to send it to the uploader, bring it right here.
