It is better to have an even exchange than to give people things for free all the time I'm not saying that you shouldn't be generous but when you give everything of yourself people tend to resent you for it sometimes. Or think you are standing above them and even though you're just trying to be kind sometimes it's better to give people. Impression that you're on a even playing field or that they have something to contribute therefore they have something to lose
Yeah, I do understand and agree with that point of view. I myself don't like it when people tend to think I'm a charity case when I didn't ask for help.
Hmm, am I the only one thinking he's too greedy for an MC. Don't get me wrong, I don't care if he's greedy, esp if he can level up easier. He just seems to be breaking the trope of shounen MC = altruism and agape, and my long existence exposed to shounen brainwashing is recoiling from the change, but rejoicing at the freshness, too.
