As someone who read the novel, I can say I was satisfied with her punishment. (I really recommend reading it, it keeps getting better and it goes into much more detail on everything 10/10)

The best/worst thing about her punishment is that they were actually super kind to her but she is too dumb to understand. Basically everyone hates her but she has no clue why. And because she is so self centered she is trapped in her tiny world unable to see the world around her.

Apparently there is both a LN and a WN so there are slight differences in plot, but nothing huge.
There have been a couple translators and overall they did a great job! The first one has a few grammar errors but that is ok by me. Especially when you compare it to a google translate that's available for the stuff that hasn't been translated.
