Unfortunately, most pieces written about the LGBT spectrum come from Hetero cis normative people, so it's quite biased or motivated by whatever kink they have. Yuri is even worse than Yaoi when we talk about misconceptions. I am though glad, that are new authors trying to let these old stuff behind, not enough yet though.
