God forbid a gay person ever be portrayed in a negative way

I realized that before their true personalities came out, a lot of people were excusing the villains' actions (or boycotting the manga) because they were a "gay couple" (and I see this a lot in the real world too) but shouldn't you be judging people based on actions, not sexuality.
God forbid a gay person ever be portrayed in a negative way.
they are humans just like us people!

I was very surprised by Gaspal and Tristan being gay but damn why does the LGBT community have to be portrayed like that? When there's gay people in straight webtoons they always turn out to be bad smh

Preach! I'm trying to give this webcomic a go, but I don't like it when they villanize them like that... I actually liked Tristan so that might be a problem lol!

I love that she's finally getting away from him, he's a complete sack of shit. But dang I really feel bad for Tristan. He wants to stay neutral and out of sight since he's already "not normal" in society. So cause of the guy he loves, he's now treated like ass by the girl who's like his sister. He's not even bitter like most people in other webtoons in this position like my god he's some kinda saint.

PS there isn't THAT many but the fact that people really think that way is weird to me like
do we want equality or not?

I agree. This is the reason i ranted in the comments here in the first place. People like these that side with gays just because what? Just because they're gays? And people like these are going berserk when they see gay people being portrayed as villains. Like bitch being gay doesn't mean that you are automatically a saint! There are too many straights being portrayed as villains since the age of dinosaurs but did people defend them? Now they're portraying gays as villains and suddenly the snowflakes are losing their minds, seriously? People are villains because they are villains, it doesn't matter who the author use.

They only want equality when it benefits them(shows them as good people for example/only the good side of things). When you include them in the bad side of things they attack you and go berserk. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Right. I'm not trying to bash anyone but THIS is the reason why equality/social prejudice for the lgbtq is not disappearing. People (not just heteros) think too much about sexuality and get blinded by it instead of focusing more about the characters as HUMANS.

"We're just like everyone else. We're only human." Yes, yes we get it. So why are you so focused on sexuality? Isn't it because you're so sensitive to these topics prejudice still exists? You're the ones bringing it up when no one said a word. You're practically screaming to the world, "Here, look at me. I'm gay, and you would never understand me."

    But aren't we both human?

Prejudice is prominent in the first place because people compare and differentiate too much. A previous response to one of my comments (to the one you stated above) asked me, "Are you part of the lgbt?"

What does that even have to do with anything? Why are you bring sexuality into everything as if it always plays a part? The world does not revolve around what sexual orientation you are. As many state, at the end of the day, aren't we all only human?

So whether I'm gay or not, the words I say are still me.

BTW I'm not trying to state that the lgbt DON'T receive enough harsh critism as it is, I'm just saying that isn't the only reason why it exists today.

The fault doesn't just lay on straight people, and neither is it just because of gay people. In the first place, don't both groups make jokes about each other? It goes both ways. It isn't anything close to "abnormal" these days with the amount of people who are in the closet.

By now it should already be something we come to terms with in society. People just need to stop thinking so much about what sexual orientation people are and just live. If you like someone, then you like them. Everyone (mostly) feels this way. Congrats. You're officially proven to have emotions.

Does what gender you fall for differentiate anything? You're still capable to falling in love, and being loved. People are just too sensitive to sexual orientation these days (is basically what I'm trying to say)

I could have, you're right about that but as a tired college student I would rather spend my time sleeping.

That's pretty shitty, two characters don't represent every gay person ever so I don't get why they are complaining. Yeah it is weird.
