I think it will actually be a mix of the two XD She will have something set up, but the prince doesn't know and catches her. They have a moment and then she tells him how unneccessary that just was while dusting of non-existing dust XD

I kind of bet that Yulia's gonna save herself because she must've put some magic stuff all around the staircase in case that girl jumped off the stairs.
