It’s honestly depressing seeing that both of them aren’t worth shit. Was hoping at least the one who saved his partner was decent but he gets a happy ending he doesn’t even deserve it seems.
Uhm, if you read the raws, nobody really got a happy ending in this story.. Except maybe the doctor's dog who ended up having kitten sisters :)
I mean does the saved partner get told the truth in the actual novel? Or is he blissfully ignorant that his partner is scum?
Actually, it's not even about that. In the novel, the bone marrow ended up incompatible with the other uke, so he died a few days later. Basically the bone marrow that was 'stolen' from the protagonist uke was not used well :(
