Hmm that’s interesting. It feels a little rushed and I never would have assumed it would take that turn. If you think about it, it’s a little weird that Chase is now technically Jessie’s stepfather when they’re the same age. This reminds me of the movie Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure where Missy was this girl a few years older than the titular characters who married first Bill’s dad then Ted’s dad lol. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Also, contrary to what people are saying in chat about Joel knowing all along about Chase's advances, I think the last panel with him mortified is the moment where he FINALLY suspects or catches on to the meaning of Andy's words. All this time, Joel's whole "are you trying to seduce me?" was meant as a joke and not in any flirty nature. ALSO:
I'm gonna fking call it before anybody. I have a feeling Chase is NOT gonna end up with Joel. Joel, towards the end will say something like "hey, Chase listen, you're a great kid and I'm fond of you, but I have a kid blah blah blah and I don't see you in any other way except as a second son, blah blah blah" . This is going to make Chase depressed.
OR ANOTHER THING I'M GONNA CALL with what MIGHT happen WHILE he's pursuing Joel, is that someone else might get involved. Remember that new student that moved into their class? What if he suddenly becomes interested in Chase and pursues him or something? What if he knows of his obsession with Joel and tries to bribe him into going out with him or something? The possibilities are endless. Tbh, this manhwa doesn't follow a correct order like all the other ones I've read. There are subplots and events that end up being non-sequitors/redundant to the rest of the story (take the beginning for example) and it can be random at times which make it unpredictable. But in all honesty, that is exactly its charm and why I was into it in the first place. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
