I totally agree but I think it was hard to ship him because the director needs ALOT of healing from his childhood. And while Hyun could definitely provide it, it's just.. hes not that type of character that could do it consistently.
I actually really like the director and I'm sad that this didn't make me ship him with Hen.
The Director is really my type but so is Ivan and I was really wanting to see Hen struggle between two guys and have myself conflicted over who to ship, but I feel like this didn't even give the Director a chance.
The Director arrived too late in this story and didn't have enough solo scenes with him when he did appear. I know I'd probably shipped Hen with Ivan either way but I feel like this ship sunk before it even had a chance to begin and I'm sad on missing out on what could have been.
