Elijah becomes Art's friend. I think I'm just into the hundreds for the chapters but he has a mysterious origin story I don't know yet and has been kidnapped by the big bad who treat him like their ruler (bad sign.) He wants to be a cool guy but feels overlooked thanks to his pretty-boy friend[Art.]
Lucas is Malfoy on steroids. He, Art, and Elijah are on an adventure squad with a few others. The flaming backdoor guttersnipe leaves them in a dungeon to die when things turn sour to save his own skin after being the main reason the team gets in such a horrible situation in the first place. Don't worry, he eventually gets what's coming to him later when he becomes a bloodstain on the ground by Art.

What Sasifras said. Though that part was still exciting for me. So short spoiler (from what i read since i alrdy dropped)

- art became an adventurer, b-class. Then after 2 years he became famous among adventurers. Hes now a-class. He went inside a dungeon with teammates (lucas and elijah included) but the boss turned out to be s-class so it killed half of the party, lucas betrayed them (making them the bait). Ofc art defeated it later on but his face was revealed and his power to elijah. From there they started to become best friends

- art wanted revenge on lucas but lucas comes from a powerful family so he decided to become stronger first. Hes wearing a mask so lucas doesn't rly know who he is

- elijah came to live with art in the helstea (? whatever the spelling is lol) so hes gonna attend xyrus academy too. Hes keeping art's secret too

- art plans to hide his ability in school so hes wearing a seal for his fire and lightning(?), mainly bec of lucas so everyone knows hes just using earth and water (? I dun rly rmb the exact element lol) anyway he plans not to attract much attention

- putting that aside, king/queen of humans, elves and dwarves united and became The Council. Reason is it seems theres a new continent and they wanna know more abt it (since it seems they are pretty advanced and strong). Then the council introduced the 6 lances (consist of 2 mage elf, 2 mage human and 2 mage dwarf), theyre kinda like strong bodyguards for each race

- tess is alrdy attending the school as a president of student council.

- depsite art saying he doesnt want attention, he still ended up drawing attention lol on first day, he defeated a bully professor, he became a member of the disciplinary committee (the prince and princess of sapin also member too). Plus after art defeating the professor, director goodsky asked art to become a professor as a replacement of that bully teacher lol. Art accepted

- tess and art reunion (this is where tess becomes annoying for me) since shes literally forcing art to like her and guilttripping him, in the end art said he doesnt plan to date soon and makes tess wait (kinda). Art eventually gave the s-core to tess (from the s class dungeon he got) cause it has a beast will but art cant use it cause he alrdy has dragon

- kinda random but actually important: art went shopping with his family but he wanted to shop that will his training so ended up with a shabby shop with an old man and a mysterious cat. The old man stole his silver coin and in exchange whe can take whatever he wants in the shop, he ended up not choosing anything so the old man gave him a small orb saying it will help him in the future

- tess had trouble assimilating with her the beast will and almost killed her but the orb he got helped her. And she went past silver stage i think? Or something like that (This is the reason im starting to dislike her, everyhing was just handed to her and she still acts like a brat if art is not paying attention to her grr)

- the new continent has something to do with the black horned ppl that after slvia before and they are secretly attacking dicathen continent

- the mysterious cat from the shop turns out to be a deity (windsom) who serves sylvia before. Now they want art to help out defeating those (theres more than that but hard to explain). He even said why he wasted the orb to tess lol it was for him so it will help his training (he ended up giving another one)

- xyrus academy was attacked by those ppl, lucas got brainwashed by them and he attacked the students and professors. He got tess to lure art. Art ended up revealing his beast will and defeated lucas (was disappointed with this cause i wasnt satisfied with his revenge here, lucas was manipulated too. I wanted lucas to know at least art and note are same person, but he died without knowing, meh)

(i think this is where things started to go wrong for me)

- art supposedly saved the academy but he got captured by the lances and brought him to the council for a trial (? kinda), they imprisoned sylvie too. The elve king and queen couldnt do anything for art too. So art was imprisoned and turns out the director got imprisoned too (so thats the reason why the academy got attacked, cause she wasnt there). The council is planning to use director and art as scapegoats for their plan. Like they will tell the ppl that it was them who did the attack. Turns out the council (more like the human and dwarf king and queen) joined forces with those horned ppl

- the deity (windsom) went to save arthur and he killed the dwarf king and queen bec they are "corrupted" and will serve as a warning for human king and queen. Windsom now plans to take art to their place (where sylvia's father) and to train him

- before they left, he let art bid goodbye to his family. Now this is where art told his parents abt his reincarnation but his mom and dad didnt take it well, especially his mom. She even said art is sick. They rejected him. They are thinking that art wasnt rly their son now and art replaced their supposedly baby. Art still left with windsom and he started his training there.

Then i stopped reading cause it became so stupid and disappointing. Sigh

Bruhhh, how can this be Σ(っ°Д °;)っ this webtoon has the potential to be the next solo leveling.............. Like Bruhhhh (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ !!

I just reached ch 64, and god i swear this whole romance shit is annoying af and Tess though *facepalm*

SL romance was pretty annoying for me too but the plot was so good i didnt care anymore.

I thought it will be the same case with BATE. The romance was annoying me too but i was abt to accept it anyway but then the plot became like that.... where did it go wrong

The beginning was rly awesome but the writing became all over the place. The changing of POV too was actually annoying as well. Especially it even has POV of Lucas like wth man who wanna read that trash's POV

I actually read the same and stop at the same part.. but im still kinda hoping to see what sylvie looks like in her human form .. but im too bored to continue reading this..

Solo leveling is kinda sucks too u know.. like in the part where the ml died .. and then he wish to the true owner of his power to reset the time .. like wtf .. i know its a game like story but why did it become like that .. like he even kill the administrator of his system.. but in the end he still die but mo worries because he reset the time to start hiz journey again fighting those gods

Lol same. Also curious to know if there rly is a connection from his past life. At this point im more curious to know him as king grey than the art always worrying for tess =_=

Hmm i had mixed feelings abt the ending, at first i was disappointed but after some time i decided to accept and overall it was still a good read for me! (aside the romance meh) c: im disappointed in a way that i was too sad for jinwoo. He sacrificed everything and was forgotten. He fought alone ╥﹏╥ it made me think that the things he did in jeju, japan and america are useless lol but in the side stories, im so glad woo jincheol remembered him. At least someone remembers hunter sung jinwoo

And ah i think u mixed it up, when jinwoo died, he finally became one with the true shadow sovereign and now has full access to his power without the system's restriction. After all, the power to create the system came from the original shadow sovereign. And he did defeat his enemies (tho with the help of the rulers) but since too many died alrdy, he wished for the time reset and this time he will defeaf them all again and go back to a world where hunters and monsters dun exist

Same. Sometimes, we need a break from the epic story of epic-ness with epic things happening. I'll pick it back up sometime.

Yes. I really like solo leveling. Still the ending wasn't what i expected or hoped for. I really didn't like the fact no one knows what he did for them. Its good that not many people died and all but still meh. And the romance was annoying like ugh but still read it be its really one of the bests(fight fantasy ) i have read.
