I think its just younger people. They think a sad past justifies becoming a criminal. I feel scared reading some of the justifications in the comments.

You should know by all the famous fictions on wattpad, and all the new romance novels that come every year that a lot of older people think that way too...

That's terrifying. I don't mind violent things happening in manga, it's not real life. But seeing people justify it in the comments is terrifying to me.
