Yeah, but rather than bribing to let her win... it was more like a bribe to say ‘ignore other bribes’ because even if he does bribe to let her win, if she isn’t good enough it will be obvious she cheated, so she still has to do well. I agree to that. All the duke wants is for Iris’ path not to have any problems. Out-bribing anyone will do. Even without the bribe itself, Iris will definitely work hard and everyone will see that and make her win
I dont think is a good idea the duke is bribing people so can Iris can win, I will definitely feel pissed if someone did that to me because she is working really hard herself
