No money stability means you aren't trusted for lots of things either. He doesn't have expenses for things that would put a warm roof over his head, so he's out there on hiis own, but he works day to day, so of course, he can pay for food and clothes and net café.

If you listen to the young guy story, it said he's a problem teen running away from home and wounding up with the gang. He added that he didn't want to do the robbery and volunteer to do this less violence job. This is also his first picking pocket mission. We don't know his family background in details but it's understandable to say he got that coat from home earlier.

Since he was old enough to get a part-time job he was old enough to be on his own. So no he didn’t get the jacket from home....
