If it does not anwser your question I will try to answer it the best I can... I have been thinking about something like that. Because I have been looking into the time lines.. but I want to go back to when we seen Hajin’s and Jaehee first time in the Korean version while it was their first time but was it Hajin’s first time? The story did not show it and it jumped over that part in the flashback.
I will say we don’t know how long they dated but they break up over a year ago but Jaehee has been dating Sohyun for about a year and her having a ring is Significant, However, mmm he is has been studying abroad for a year..,,, that is weird to me.

I have did some translations. For chapter 30 and I decided to look at chapter 22.... in the Korean version. She said something similar but she did not say younger. I will look more into those line

i think it wasnt just that the translation in ch 22 said that hajin was younger but also that i cant imagine hajin having lived with his parents as recently as two years ago when he and jaehee broke up. i know in korea and many other countries it is normal to live with you parents until marriage etc but it feels like hajin has been living alone for longer? but then again i have nothing to base that on
So it seems hajin and hangyum didnt date in highschool but it does seem like hajin didnt know he liked men until hangyum started flirting with him and also it seems like hangyum was hajins first ever kiss? but in ch 22 haeun mentions that their family found out hajin was gay because when he was younger (which suggests many years before the current timeline) he accidentally blurted out that he broke up with his boyfriend which got him kicked out. so if he and hangyum never dated and if he and jaehee only broke up two years ago, wouldnt that mean hajin had a bf we've never seen before? and im confused did he used o have girlfriends but never kissed them before hangyum in high school?
