I dont really see it as them being cold to the boys. Whenever we see the parents interact with them it's because they caused trouble. With or without favoritism, naughty behaviour and cruel actions should not be tolerated. Of course it's going to feel like they only dote on her though at this rate and will make the boys dislike her more, but they're not mature enough to get past this yet. Hopefully they grow out of it soon and they can all be happy together u.u
