If I remembered correctly, I think Jesse purposely didn’t tell Chase because he didn’t like Chase and thought that if Chase found out would lose interest.

Okay, then my comment for this chapter. I feel so bad for Chase now. No one tells him about the truth that Joel is Jesse's father. I wonder why Jesse never told him the truth right away when he knows that Chase is interested in Joel and always try seducing him. Let's see if this will become more dramatic or it doesn't affect Chase at all.
