I totally agree! Her character is so wishy washy that its hard to make any sense of her actions. But its pretty typical of a Chinese story tbh... a lot of the characters from Chinese stories tend to be know it alls and cater the plot to one character regardless of how much sense it makes as a whole.
When did she asked to be treated like a queen? She is in a world where all women are treated that way because there are so few. She can't leave. She is trying to survive and has been pulled along and kidnapped and forced to live this life. Along the way she has tried to incorporate things from her old life so she can have something familiar and comforting , more healthy and to introduce it to others. The males in her harem are very controlling of her, telling her even when she should or shouldn't go outside. Also, why should she be in love or lust with Parker?He's nice and treats her well, why does that mean she has to feel attracted to him? You feel it or you don't. And he INSISTS on being with her. I wouldn't feel obligated to have sex with someone because they are being kind to me and I don't understand all the commenters who think she should. Finally, the main point of a nonfiction story is what the author wants the main point to be, it's not always a lesson or a place you have to identify with a character.
FL is supposed to be, like, 16 years old. You've met a brat at that age before, right?
At almost every other chapter the Mc does something that makes me want to punch the sh*t out of her. I just don't get what she wants from those around her. She wants to be treated like a queen without doing anything for them in turn.
I would've have liked it if this manga was a bit more realistic in showing how nothing ever comes by just sitting on a mat and scolding people like you are their superior.
She is sweet?? Only to males, she berates women at every opportunity.
She is humble?? Then you should not b*tch when you touch someone else's child.
She is caring?? She repeatedly turns down Parker's every single attempt to satisfy her bottomless greed.
Honestly I have stopped seeing myself in her. I can't feel a thing. Isn't the main point of a story is so that you can project yourself in them and see world from their lives???
I feel powerful when my MC is strong, Wise when they pull out a strategy, Brave when they stand up from unrecoverable situation.......
So disappointed......and it's my fav genre too
